REVIEW: DOOBOO Korean

Dooboo Korean is my go to restaurant for good Korean food. With many stores in places like Glen Waverley, Box Hill and the CBD, it is easily accessible. When I went this time, it was with a large group of friends, so we ordered a few different dishes to share.

What we ordered:

  • Seafood Pancake

  • Boneless Chicken (Sweet Chilli and Soy Garlic)

  • Japchae

  • King Sized Donkatsu

  • Signature Soon Tofu

  • Ham and Sausage Soon Tofu

I love the Soon Tofu soup here - a perfect level of spice that is super flavourful. The tofu is so silky and soft and the all the other ingredients in both hotpots were complimented really well by the taste of on kimchi in the soup. The Donkatsu chicken was bigger than my face - absolutely massive serving, definitely recommend sharing! The Japchae tasted really authentic and had just the right amount of firmness in the noodles. The Boneless Chicken was crunchy and I especially liked the Soy Garlic flavour. The Seafood Pancake disappeared so fast - it was so good everyone was fighting over it!!!

It was around $15-20 per person for 8 people. They have really cool robots that deliver food to the tables as well!! Again, a classic favourite spot for me, definitely give it a try!
